Radio host, writer and stand-up comic Cecily Knobler currently writes and hosts Live from Hollywood, a daily morning show in which she provides entertainment reports and film reviews for 20 FM radio stations. Her millions of listeners hear her report Hollywood gossip with a comedic twist and review films on a weekly basis. Previously, she co-hosted the KZLA Morning Show in Los Angeles, for which she also produced a movie review segment called “Girl on Film.”
Cecily writes humorous columns on sex, relationships and pop culture for a number of publications, both print and online, including American Curves magazine, and is a current contributor to US Weekly magazine. She has had a column in The NoHo>LA News, where she discussed men and relationships. She has made many appearances as an entertainment reporter for MSNBC’s television show, Scarborough Country. She was also a longtime cast member on VH1’s popular TV show Best Week Ever, as a commentator on pop culture, politics and film. She recently appeared as a commentator on the Critics Choice Awards, which was broadcast on VH1.
As a comic, she has worked all over the country, including the prestigious “New Faces” show at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
Cecily has a degree in Neuropsychology. She lives in Los Angeles, where she amuses herself by drinking coffee and dreaming up ways of moving to London. |
